Jump Force is hailed as the ultimate crossover fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game features characters from various popular manga and anime series. The many playable Jump Force characters come from many different anime and manga universes and feature some of the most popular characters from them.
The premise places the player up against the invasion of ‘’Venoms’’. They are an army of mind-controlled villains led by Kane and Galena. With help from some of the most popular anime and manga characters, the player aims to stop the invasion and prevent the worlds from merging into one. Of the Jump Force characters, the player will meet here are all the playable ones made available throughout the game and DLCs.
Black Clover Jump Force Characters
Bleach is an anime and manga set in the world of magic and Wizard Kings. The story follows a young maneless orphan determined to become the strongest and become the Wizard King. Armed with a unique power the boy sets out on his journey with his childhood best friend. This one goal places him in many challenging and exciting situations the audience can follow during the series.
Asta
Asta is the protagonist of Black Clover and is a young orphan raised in a small village alongside his fellow orphan Yuno. Unlike other kids, Asta lacks magic, a key factor that determines power within their universe. Even without it, Asta aims to reach the title of Wizard King through sheer physical strength and determination. Early in his journey he mysteriously despite his lack of magic obtains a five-leaf grimoire said to contain a Devil. The grimoire grants Asta anti-magic and a sword that utilizes it. Bleach Jump Force Characters
Bleach is one of the big three classic shonen manga and anime series that follows the adventures of a teenager Ichiho Kurosaki. A young boy inherits his parent’s destiny upon obtaining the powers of a Soul Reaper from another. His newly acquired powers allow him to defend humans from evil spirits and guide souls to the afterlife. This sends him on various journeys where he hones his powers and protects the world. As the series continues Ichigo is proven to be more important than he himself could ever know, making for a great series to follow.
Ichigo Kurosaki
Ichigo Kurosaki is the main protagonist of his series and starts off as a special teenager being able to see ghosts. This allows him to meet a Soul Reaper from whom he receives his powers. By gaining these abilities he is assigned to patrol around his city and slay evil spirits called Hollows. The second task of being a Soul Reaper has Ichigo guiding good spirits to the Soul Society. As the story continues Ichigo Kurosaki learns more about himself and his past while growing more and more powerful. As a Jump Force character, he is a heavy hitter and an interesting character for players to play and meet.
Rukia Kuchiki
Rukia Kuchiki is a Jump Force Character that is crucial to the story of Bleach. In the series, she is the Soul Reaper Ichigo meets at the start. She also grants him her powers in order to fulfill her duties as a Soul Reaper. The story explores her and Ichigo’s unique relationship which follows their intertwined story. As one of the key players in many of the series’ crucial plots, she is not only important to the story but many fans of the series. Ultimately becoming the new Squad 13 captain and partner of Renji, her childhood friend.
Renji Abarai
Renji Abarai is one of the first characters from Soul Society introduced in the series. This happens when he and Byakuya Kuchiki are sent to the human world to bring back Rukia Kuchiki. Here Abarai meets Ichigo whom he fights and losses too. In the following arc, his relationship with Rukia is explored, and his ambitions to prove himself as a shinigami are revealed. After his second defeat against Ichigo, Abanai aims to strengthen these powers for the good of Soul Rukia. Renjis Zanpaktou is themed around snakes which are transferred perfectly to his Jump Force character.
Sosuke Aizen
Sosuke Aizen is the main antagonist of the first half of the series. He is the captain of the Fifth Division of Soul Reapers upon first introduction. This is later changed when he betrays the Soul Society. He is revealed to be behind most of the early plot of the series with ambitions to sacrifice the souls of Karakura Town and kill the Soul King. Eventually, he is confronted by Ichigo, the only person not affected by his Zanpakuto. Here Aizen reveals his role in Ichigo’s life and struggles since meeting Rukia were all part of his grant plan. Nearly revealing the boy’s mysterious lineage when Isshin intervened to take over the fight. He is ultimately defeated by a newly enhanced Ichigo, barely surviving his final attack. As one of the greatest antagonists in manga and anime history, he is also one of the most popular Jump Force Bleach characters.
Toshiro Hitsugaya
The first Jump Force DLC character on our list is Toshiro Hitsuyaga from Bleach. In the series, Toshiro is the captain of the 10th division of the Gotei 13. He is prominent across all the Bleach films even featured as the protagonist of Bleach: The Diamond Dust Rebellion. Toshiro Hitsugaya due to his excellent performance in the Soul Reaper academy became the youngest captain in the history of Soul Society with command over Squad 10. His grandmother is later manipulated to think he killed Sosuke Aizen. Because of this, he attacks Gin thinking he tricked her. Figuring out this was all Aizens plot he tries to kill him but is swiftly defeated. His spirit and appearance make him a popular favorite amongst fans of the series.
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez
As the second Jump Force DLC character Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez is the Sexta Espada, signified by the ‘’6’’ tattooed on this back. Grimmjow is a defiant character only cowed by Sosuke Aizen. Despite his character Grimmjow has a keen sense of honor, repaying those he feels indebted to, alright refusing to battle handicapped opponents. His motivation is to become a Hollow King, which he chases with his savage combat style and violet lust for battle. His appearance is one of the many reasons he is a fan favorite. Grimmjow dresses in a vest over bare skin and loose pants, fit with sports blue hair in a great style. Additionally, his hollow mask and his hollow hole make him a stunning Jump Force character to see in the game.
Yourichi Shihoin
The third and final DLC Jump Force character is Yourichi Shinon, an old friend to fan favorite Kisuke Urahara. Yourichi uses the Urahara Shop as his place of residence, she is a slim dark-skinned woman with deep violet hair. Yourichi’s popularity comes from her transformation into a black cat. The cat gives her a deep voice which leads many including Jump Force characters to believe she is male. She is a pacifist and tends to avoid combat unless it is a must. Yourichi is the captain of the 2nd Division as well as the head of the noble Shihoin clan. Despite her avoidance of combat, she is extremely powerful due to her high speed. Her fighting style is bare-handed due to the use of shunko, an advanced combat technique.
City Hunter Jump Force Characters
City Hunter is a mystery series that follows the exploits of Ryo Saeba, a man who can often be found chasing beautiful ladies. He is also a private detective working towards cleaning up all crime in Tokyo. Ryo does this alongside his partner Hideyuki Makimura. Their ‘’City Hunter’’ business is a jack-of-all-trades operation contacted in a special way. One day Hideyuki is murdered and Ryo is left to take care of his sister, who becomes his new partner. The story follows the pair as they cooperate throughout each mission and develop their romance.
Ryo Saeba
As the main protagonist of the series City Hunter, Ryo Saeba is a private detective with great ambitions. Ryo was raised as a guerilla fighter and has no knowledge of his past due to a plane crash. In his series, Ryo is a skilled marksman being able to land shots in exactly the same spot with a weapon. These skills and his wits are his strongest skills which are sure to help the squad in Jump Force.
Dragon Ball Jump Force Characters
Dragon Ball is one of the oldest ongoing anime and manga series with millions of fans all around the world. The series is set in a world with a core centered around martial arts and power. It follows Son Goku, from childhood to adulthood as he trains in martial arts and explores the world in search of the Dragon Balls and greater power. Through his journey we see Goku make many friends and battle villains. Over the series, the protagonist never fails to find a new and even harder challenge to triumph over.
Son Goku
Son Goku or referred to as Kakkarot only by his fellow Saiyans is the protagonist of Dragon Ball. The series follows his story from his being sent to Earth as an infant prior to his homeworld’s destruction. To him becoming one of the most popular characters in the Dragon Ball universe. He is the first Saiyan in the series to achieve Super Saiyan and defeat hist world’s destroyer. Goku is a joyful and goofy character outside of combat, often making friends with strong people he would like to fight. His neverending lust for improvement which at first stemmed from violence and aggression due to his Saiyan nature. That now comes from a more cheerful mindset thanks to his experiences. But if the situation calls for it he is shown to bring out that rage and defeat his opposition.
Vegeta
As the Prince of Saiyans Vegeta is a naturally gifted fighter due to his pristine lineage. This leads him to be extremely arrogant, proud, and hardworking. He often refers to his royal status as proof of his strength and as an inspiration to keep training. Upon meeting Goku and losing his first battle with the Z fighters he becomes obsessed with becoming stronger. After the death of Frieza, the price unites forces with Goku to train, become the strongest, and battle the greatest threats to the universe. Vegetas story and character development go from a villain to an antihero as the series goes on. His powerful speeches and honor make him one of the greatest characters ever. As one of the Jump Force characters, he is sure to drive the teams to strive for greatness and save the universe.
Trunks
Trunks are one of the more interesting characters to come from Dragon Ball since he is in fact from the future. The son of the great Saiyan prince easily matches the expected power. Although he is a half-Saiyan half-Human he enters the story as an unidentified young man who traveled back in time to stop a catastrophe. He is one of the most popular characters in the series and shined in the Android arc when he was introduced. His unique style and abilities that include some of his fathers make him a great character in fights. Furthermore, he is the only Saiyan canonical connected to a weapon, his longsword. Jump Force Trunks is not only fun to play but spots a great personality that impacts the story.
Piccolo
Piccolo is a character aimed to become a villain at the start of the series. But he would quickly befriend Goku, fighting and training alongside him. Piccolo’s transformation from villain to hero was exciting and has a beautiful story that spans the series. From being Goku’s friend he goes on to become his son’s mentor and teacher. Thanks to his wit and Namekian nature has insights that help all the Z Fighters in the series. Piccolo has stayed one of the most interesting characters in the series and an integral mind behind any plan. These traits as well as some unique abilities are present in his Jump Force character.
Frieza
Frieza is the main antagonist of the first part of the Dragon Ball series, with the characteristic of always coming back. He is a broker who forcibly takes over plants in order to resell them and is an exceptionally strong fighter. At the start of the series, he is known for nearly eliminating all Saiyans due to his fear of one becoming a Super Saiyan and besting him. Following this elimination of all Saiyans, he eventually encounters Goku, who is able to best him after achieving what Frieza feared most. As the story goes on Frieza makes a few reappearances whenever he achieves a new form and power level. It seems like he is set up to become the final antagonist of the series. Although, Frieza can be seen teaming up with foes to face a greater threat which is the case of his Jump Force character.
Cell
Cell, a major villain in the series makes the debut shortly after future Trunks. He is an evil artificial life form from the future created using cell samples from some of the strongest characters in the series. To become as strong as possible he travels back in time so he can become the perfect being. He does this by absorbing androids 17 and 18. The Z fighters have a tough time defeating him, even forcing Goku to sacrifice himself to save the planet. He is ultimately defeated by Gohan, Goku’s son, with Vegetas help. Due to the nature of Cell being a time traveler, it is hard to completely eliminate him, that is until Trunks deals with him in the future thanks to newfound strength.
Majin Buu
The first and only DLC Jump Force character from the Dragon Ball universe is none other than Majin Buu. He is a magical genie-like magical life form awoken by an evil warlock. Buu has terrorized galaxies and destroyed planets even millions of years before the events of the series. Although he was sealed away and brought to Earth for hiding, he is found by the warlock’s son and resurrected. His unique personality and ability to absorb fighters and their power make him a very tough enemy. Upon his defeat at the hands of Goku, he transforms into the fat Majin Buu. A kindhearted form that lives peacefully on Earth under the alias Misuta Bu.
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Jump Force Characters
The story of Dragon Quest revolves around a young boy named Dai, a young orphan and the only human living on an island. Dai was raised by Brass and his best friend, a monster Gnome, the boy grew up dreaming of becoming a hero. Dai would eventually befriend the princess of the Kingdom of Papnica upon saving her from peril. After this incident, Dai also meets a magician which becomes his teacher at her ask. His training is interrupted by an invasion by the Demon Army, Dai temporarily drives them away upon awakening a mysterious power within himself. The story goes on to follow his journey to become the hero he sought to be for a long.
Dai
As a young and spirited boy, he is one of the more interesting playable Jump Force characters. The experience gained from his travels in his series and the beasts he has slain make him a formidable fighter. Dai’s powerful moves have made an incredibly stunning transition into Jump Force and are one’s players will enjoy using as Dai or their character.
Fist of the North Star Jump Force Characters
Fist of the North Star is one of the most influential series to come from the 1900s and its part in Jump Force is no surprise. The setting is a worldwide nuclear war that has resulted in the destruction of nearly all civilizations. The remnants of mankind roaming the earth are primarily focused on surviving and hoarding resources. Our protagonist is a successor to Hokuto Shinken, an ancient martial art of assassination that utilizes hidden meridian points. The story explores how people will act and tells a unique story that went on to inspire the next generations.
Kenshiro
Kenshuiro is our protagonist that wields Hokuto Shinken, despite knowing this technique he wishes to live a peaceful life. Unfortunately, he is separated from his lover Yuria by a jealous rival which leads him to begin his heroic journey. On his long path, he defends the weak and innocent meeting many friends and foes as he does. Ultimately, ensuring peace and putting a new Hokuto Shinken successor on the right path. Jump Force Kenshiro features his iconic ability granting players an incredibly satisfying playing experience.
Hunter x Hunter Jump Force Characters
The story of Hunter x Hunter focuses on a young boy named Gon who wishes to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a world-renowned Hunter. Hunters are licensed professionals who specialize in many exciting pursuits such as treasure hunting, identifying animal species and even hunting down lawless individuals. The journey begins as gon aims to become a Hunter and eventually find his father, making many friends along the way. But as the boy explores this vast world he discovers the many systems and people in place that shake up his story in interesting ways.
Gon Freecss
Gon Freecss is the main protagonist in the series that has a joyful and idealistic view of the world. He is an athletic and friendly boy but nonetheless a naive one. Following his wish to become a Hunter like his dad he finds himself at the Hunter Exam where he befriends Killua Zoldyck, Kurapika, and Leorio Paradnight. Gon passes the exam and becomes a licensed Hunter, which opens up the world to him. Here he learns all about Nen and how to become stronger. Developing his iconic moves ‘’Rock’’, ‘’Paper’’, and ‘’Scissors’’. All of which can be seen in his Jump Force Character.
Killua Zoldyck
Killua Zoldyck is the counterpart to Gon in the Hunter x Hunter series and has an aptitude for killing due to his heritage. He is a member of the famous Zoldyck Family of assassins and was trained since birth to assassinate and have extreme tolerance. Killua easily passes the Hunter Exam and in the process befriends Gon. Further on in the story, he becomes one of the first people to beat Greed Island and assist in stopping the Chimera Ants. Above all else, he is kind to his sister and has an unyielding loyalty to his new friends. Killuas’ greatest flaw is the fear of those that are seemingly more powerful than him, a result of his brother’s influence. Of the duo, he is more popular and has simply cooler moves that can be seen in Jump Force.
Kurapika
The sole survivor of the Kurta Clan, Kuraprika, is a member of a race with treasured irises that turn scarlet at times of anger or emotional turmoil. Kuprikas’ motivation and sole goal in the series is to avenge his people and retrieve their stolen eyes from the hands of the Phantom Troupe. He is an intelligent and quick-thinking character that slowly works towards his goal. His special ability is the creation of a unique weapon in the form of five chains. Each extends from a finger on his right hand and utilizes them offensively and defensively. Kuraprika’s Jump Force character expertly portrays his abilities and his scarlet eyes during fights.
Hisoka Morow
Hisoka Morrow is an interesting character in the universe of Hunter x Hunter with an ability to match. He is one of the many antagonists in the series and a magician and serial killer who combines magic tricks with violence. The deceitful and playful magician utilizes Elasting and Gum abilities to turn the tides of battle. Although he is an antagonist he is often seen helping the main cast to ensure they grow stronger. With the ultimate goal of getting to fight them once they are as strong as possible. This makes him the perfect character for Jump Force, a universe full of the strongest characters across many universes.
Biscuit Krueger
One of the two DLC Jump Force characters from Hunter x Hunter is Biscuit Krueger, a Greed Island player. He is a Double Star Stone hunter that teams up with Gon and Killua during the arc. Although she appears to be a little girl, her true form is a massive and extremely muscular older woman. Biscuit decides to stay in the smaller form only because she prefers the appearance even though she loses some of her power while small. She becomes the teacher to the duo during their stay in the game and later on goes to join Kuprika’s party at Killua’s request.
Meruem
The museum is one of the iconic characters in the series and is the Chimera And King. As the most powerful Queen’s offspring, Meurem forced himself out of the womb at the cost of the Queen’s life. He is arrogant with little sense of identity other than some notion of his kind’s superiority over humans. Meruem is a strategist and enjoys disrupting the flow of his opponents. He is ultimately bested by Netero at the cost of his life, if not for that he may as well have been unstoppable. Meruem’s as one of the Jump Force characters is a delight to play and allows you to experience the power of a true King.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Jump Force Characters
JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure is a long-running series that follows the Joestar family and their adventures versus Dio. The story starts with the very first Joestar protagonist in the series Jonathan who has an adoptive brother Dio. The pair never got along with Dio playing the role of a bully. Eventually, he tries to usurp the family line by positioning his adoptive father. When Dio’s attempts are flawed he accidentally turners himself into a vampire and destroyed their childhood home. The story continues to floor the Joestar lineage as they attempt to erase Dio and prevent him from taking over the world. While also taking on other threats along the way.
Jotaro Kujo
Jotaro Kujo is probably the favorite Joestar in the series all thanks to his Calm and cool demeanor paired with exceptional powers. He alone is able to defeat Dio and his stand The World at the end of Stardust Crusaders. Jotaros stand is Stardust Platinum and is set to be one of the most powerful in the series rivaling even The World. After defeating Dio Jotaro goes on to be a marine biologist and helps prevent Dio from ever coming back. Jotaro eventually has a daughter who he has to help face the unavoidable enemies the Joestar lineage puts her against.
Dio
Dio is the poor son of Dario Brando, who was adopted by the Joestar family due to a false debt. He attempts to usurp the family line and claim everything that is theirs for himself. After his plan failed he became a vampire thanks to an ancient stone mask. This made him immortal, thus giving him the ability to work toward the top of the world. After narrowly escaping Jonathan by taking his body over Dio learned all about stands and acquired one of the most powerful ones, The World. A stand that allows him to stop time for a few seconds. By using this power he started to ammas an army to take over the world only to be thwarted by Jotaro Kujo, a Joestar. Before his defeat, Dio entrusted his close friend and comrade Enrico Pucci with his plan to attain Heaven.
Giorno Giovanna
The only DLC Jump Force Character from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is the illegitimate son of Dio himself, Giorno Giovanna. Giorno is technically both a Joestar and Dios son bearing similarities to both men and their personalities. His dream is to become a Gang-Star in the Passione mob family and do good with the title. His stand is very unique and has the ability to imbue things with life. Giorno can use Gold Experience to also create body parts, thus granting him the ability to heal himself and his allies. Eventually, Giorno is chosen by the Stand Arrow upgrading his stand to Gold Experience Requiem. This upgrade makes him one of if not the strongest characters in the series to date, allowing the stand to reverent anything to a state of zero. All his abilities can be seen beautifully animated in his Jump Force character.
My Hero Academia Jump Force Characters
My Hero Academia is set in a world where superpowers have become commonplace and manifest in the form of Quirks. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a young boy that was born without a Quirk but still dreams of becoming a superhero. Through his unwavering resolve and unique circumstance he is chosen by All Might, Japan’s greatest hero, to be his successor. This helps him enroll in a prestigious high school for superheroes in training, which he joined as part of the top class. The story follows his and his classmate’s journey to becoming Japan’s top heroes and defeating any supervillains that may arise.
Izuku Midoriya
Izuku Midoriya is the main protagonist of the story and the 9th holder of One For All, All Might’s quirk. His hero’s name is Deku and his goal is to become a symbol of peace for Japan and to protect everyone in it. Deku’s quirk is unique because it is multiple quirks in one, this rants it a range of abilities. But most notably the quirk grants him super strength, sadly he cannot handle the full power of the quirk so he must use fractions of it so as to not break his bones. Thanks to his prowess he is able to successfully utilize the quirk of the previous number-one hero in Japan and aim toward that very spot. The story will put the strongest villains against Deku which will test both his physical and mental strength. Deku in Jump Force features his most iconic Smash moves and many others.
All Might
All Might is Deku’s teacher and the 8th holder of One For All he is also a DLC character in Jump Force. His real name is Toshinori Yagi and he was the number-one hero in Japan for years. As he was established as the Symbol of Peace he faced off against the biggest antagonist the series has to offer, All for One. All Might defeated the villain but ultimately he got away albeit wounded. After this fight, All Might had a clock to find a successor before his body gave out and he couldn’t use his power anymore. By granting his quirk to Izuku Midoriya he became his teacher and aimed to turn him into the new Symbol of Peace.
Katsuki Bakugo
Another DLC Jump Force character is Katsuki Bakugo, a class A member and Deku’s childhood friend. Bakugo is a hot-tempered child with a quirk to match, his quirk Expliosin allows him to make explosions from his sweat. Bakugo’s quirk is exceptionally strong and his creativity while using it makes it shine. As a child he often bullied the Quirkless Izuku however once they both entered U.A. High School they quickly became rivals. Bakugo was kidnapped by the League of Villains, and saved by All Might, who had to expend the last of his quirk. This demoralized Bakugo since he believed he ruined his childhood hero. All Might and Deku Told him the truth of One for All which sparked a new flame for Bakugo to become stronger and overcome Deku and his newfound quirk.
Shoto Todoroki
The final DLC Jump Force character is Shoto Todoroki, son of the number-two hero of Japan Endeavor. Shoto is the only child to inherit both quirks from his parents making him the family’s best creation. As a child of an arranged marriage solely based on quirk combination, he resented his father and refused to use his flame abilities. This changed once he faced Deku in a tournament where the boy challenged him to use all his might. Shoto has the potential to reach the number one spot thanks to the great synergy his quirks provide. This of course if he can master them both and learn to balance them perfectly.
Naruto Jump Force Characters
Naruto is a series set in a land and time of ninjas, focusing on Naruto Uzumaki, a ninja that aims to become the Hokage the title of the leader. The story is told in two parts following Naruto from his birth to his adulthood. While there is a third part that follows his son Boruto and his journey. Naruto is a series that explores many interesting topics and has a lot of abilities and characters the watcher can meet. The crux of the story is the power struggle between Naruto and the beast sealed within him. Eventually, he befriends it, puts a stop to war, and becomes Hokage, fulfilling his lifelong dream.
Boruto Uzumaki
Boruto is the son of Naruto Uzumaki and his story takes time in the future of Konoha. During his life technology has evolved enough that it is ever present and utilized in combat. Borutos antagonist is the Otsotsuki clan, a clan of very powerful aliens set on destroying the planet. Paired with his friends and family he goes up to face the Otsotsuki clan and save the planet and everyone he loves.
Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki is the greatest shinobi of his time only comparable to his rival Sasuke. Through his journey, he proved himself to everyone and achieved the title of Hokage. His many adventures have changed the world and helped everyone he came across. By doing thought to be impossible feats all with his heart on his sleeve he earns the respect of nearly everyone he comes across, sometimes even his enemies. Later in life, he participates as a key player in the war ultimately besting Madara Uchiha and Kaguya Otsosuki. After this, he even faces his rival one last time to finally unite their minds and stop the fighting.
Sasuke Uchiha
The only survivor of the Uchiha clan and young prodigy is the rival to Naruto and a team member to Sakura. He is set on a dark path of revenge believing his brother to be a cold-blooded killer. This leads him to take guidance from villains as he hunts his brother for revenge. Ultimately he learns the truth behind his clan and his brother which aims his vengeance toward another target. By defeating Danzo Shimura the mastermind behind a tragedy and the acting Hokage at the time. Sasuke departs only to come back during the war to help Naruto win it.
After the war, he announced his wish to become Hokage and rule with a heavy fist he fights Naruto. By losing Sasuke ultimately reforms and changes his ways for the better, and becomes a wandering shinobi. But in the future, he comes back to Konoha to serve as Boruto’s teacher.
Kakashi Hatake
The Coply ninja or better known as Kakashi Hatake is the teacher of Team 7 and a student of Minato Namikaze. He is a detached and apathetic figure in the beginning but as the story continues we can see that he is much more. With a history rooted with one of the main antagonists Kakashi is quite an important character in the series. His abilities are far and wide with his unique trait being an implanted sharingan given to him by his best friend. Kakashi’s efforts to teach Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura make them some of the strongest shinobi in their generation. In Jump Force Kakashi can be seen utilizing his Susanoo, his strongest move portrayed in the series.
Gaara 
Gaara is an antagonist in the first part of Naruto, and the Jinchuriki for the tailed beast Shukaku the One Tail. He is introduced in the Chunin exams where he fights a wide cast in the tournament. His main power is sand manipulation which he can use offensively and defensively. During his fight with Sasuke, he receives his first injury and suffers a breakdown manifesting his Tailed-Beasts powers. Following this naruto and Sasuke confront him to calm him down by defeating him. This helps him make amends with the many characters he alienated and sets his fundamental desire to protect as many as he can into motion. Ultimately he becomes the Kazekage, the Kage of Sunagakure.
Kaguya Otsusuki
Kaguya Otsusuki is the first Otsusuki clan member introduced in the story and is the mother of the Sage of Six Paths. She was initially sealed away to save the planet from being devoured only to be brought back by Black Zetsu during the war during the second part of naruto. As soon as she manifests she envelops the world in the Infinite Tsukuyomi only leaving Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi awake. They proceed to defeat her with the help of Obito, formerly known as Tobi. Her defeat brings Earth onto the radar of the rest of her clan which invades the planet in the future.
Madara Uchiha
The only DLC Jump Force character from Naruto is the Ghost of the Uchiha, better known as Madara Uchiha. Madara is the villain that has been pulling the strings from the backline only to cause the war and bring about his revival. His ultimate goal was to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi and make the world as he liked it. Unfortunately, he was deceived by Black Zetsu only to bring back Kaguya. But during his life, he was one of the strongest characters we have ever seen in the series. Upon revival, he took on an army shinobi all by himself. Playing as Madara in Jump Force simply makes you feel powerful, especially thanks to the stunning effects.
One Piece Jump Force Characters
One Piece is one of the longest and best series in manga and anime, with a compelling story that follows one pirate crew. The captain of said crew aims to become Pirate King and find the One Piece and achieve the dream only known by his crew, never revealed to the reader or watcher. This grand ambition takes the crew all over the world in search of hidden treasure. Alon the way they meet many friends and enemies in all shapes and sizes.
Monkey D. Luffy
The protagonist and captain of the Straw Hat pirates are Monkey D. Luffy, a cheerful and funny young boy with a unique power. Luffy accidentally ate a devil fruit and it was the Gum-Gum fruit allowing him to stretch his limbs and turn his body into rubber. His creativity and love for fighting allow him to fully utilize these abilities and expand upon them. As he set on his journey he has slowly amassed a plethora of friends and a strong and eternally loyal crew. We have seen him go to many islands and learn more than we could have even imagined about the world of One Piece. In Jump Force, Luffy has all of his gears on display for the player to utilize as they defeat enemies.
Roronoa Zoro
The right-hand man of the future Pirate King and the future greatest swordsman in One Piece this green-haired character is very interesting. With a mysterious background, the previous pirate hunter was recruited by Luffy after being saved. Zoro’s defining traits are his wacky nature and horrible sense of direction. But this swordsman also has a unique technique which is his three-sword style. This style involves him holding a blade in each hand and one in his mouth. Even though he is not the protagonist he is often the favorite character of many fans of the series. Zoro’s feature in Jump Force is exciting since there is nothing better than cutting down foes as your favorite swordsman.
Sanji
Sanji is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates and second to Luffy only after Zoro. He is a composed, nonchalant, and calm individual who can be referred to as a lady’s man. Sanji’s relationship with Zoro is one of two eternally fighting brothers as they aim to push their captain to become the Pirate King. His history is one he is not fond of due to his family being ruthless and emotionless. He fights by summoning flames from his feet thanks to the fact that he is a modified human. While Sanji can fight he has sworn never to attack women or let them be insulted even at the cost of his own life. He is a truly kind person that is an integral part of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Sabo
Sabo is the chief of staff at the Revolutionary Army and brother to Ace and Luffy. He was introduced early in the story as a noble during Luffys youth. Sabo has had a small role for most of the story due to his loss of memory. After his ship was destroyed by a Celestial Dragon he was thought to be dead, only to be saved by Monkey D. Dragon, Luffy’s father. Only after reading of Ace’s death in the newspaper does his memory come back. Just like his brother Luffy, devastated by the news he becomes determined towards a greater goal. This goal was to obtain Ace’s Devil Fruit in order to inherit Ace’s will and let him live through him. In Jump Force Sabo can be seen utilizing Ace’s Devil Fruit to the fullest, using moves such as Flame Fist.
Boa Hancock
As a member of the all-female Kuja Tribe from the island of Amazon Lilly Boa Hancock was a Celestial Dragon during childhood. Sadly, she and her sisters were forced to eat devil fruits. After this Boa became the ruler of the tribe and was referred to as the Snake Princess. From here Boa was offered membership in the Seven Warlords of the Sea, a position she accepted. Her aid is called by Luffy in the Government’s war against the Whitebeard Pirates which she only accepts because of her love for the future Pirate King. Boa’s devil fruit ability allows her to turn anyone charmed by her into stone and back again making her quite strong. After the war, she lost the title of one of the Seven Warlords because they were disbanded.
Blackbeard
The captain of the Blackbeard Pirates better known as Marshall D. Teach or Blackbeard is one of the most mysterious characters in the series. A former member of the Whitebeard pirates, he fought alongside them against the Rodger pirates, notably leaving a scar on the face of Red Haired Shanks. He was kicked by the Whitebeard pirates for killing his Crewmate to eat the Dark-Dark fruit. Ever since his first introduction in the story Blackbeard has had some unexplainable knowledge. This plus the fact that he is the only user to use two devil fruits at one time makes many believe he has lots of secrets. Jump Force Blackbeard not only shows off his abilities in style but features that all-so-iconic laugh.
Trafalgar D. Water Law
Trafalgar D. Water Law is the character with arguably the most powerful devil fruit in One Piece, the Op-Op Fruit. This fruit allows him to cut and teleport objects within a specific area around him as he wishes. He can also perform body swaps within said area. As the captain o the Heart Pirates, he sees Donquxote Doflamingo, his former captain, as his nemesis. This is because he killed Corazon, the man that made Law who he is. To defeat Doflamingo Law teams up with Luffy and later on goes with him and Kid to take on Kaido and Big Mom. But above all else what makes Law special is the Op-Op Fruits’ hidden ability to perform the immortality surgery at the cost of the holder’s life.
Jump Force Trafalgar has a great move set utilizing all the powers he has in the series. It is also important to note that Law is the only DLC Jump Force character from One Piece.
Rurouni Kenshin Jump Force Characters
Rurouni Kenshin is a Japanese series set during the 11th year of the Meiji period in Japan. The story follows a former assassin from the Bakumatsu, known as Hitokiri Battosai. Soon after his work against the bakufu, Hikitori Battosai disappears to become Himura Kenshin. Now, a wandering swordsman who protects the people of Japan with a vow never to take another life.
Himura Kenshin
Himura Kenshin is the protagonist of the series Rurouni Kenshin that goes from a legendary assassin to a wandering samurai. His weapon becomes a reverse-blade sword, a katana that has a cutting-edge curve inside rather than outside of the sword. This makes it nearly incapable of killing mirroring Himura’s newfound lifestyle and moral law. The story follows his newfound journey as he wanders the countryside and protects those in need and the new relationships he establishes. Especially as Himura encounters ex-enemies and many new people in Tokyo where he decides to reside.
Shishio Makoto
Shiso Makoto is the successor of the assassin Humura Kenshin and the antagonist of the Kyoto Arc. After his time with Ishin Shishi, the Meiji government attempted to kill Shishio by dousing him in oil and burning him alive. To their dismay, Shishio survived and recruits a large army to get his revenge and take down Japan. Now covered in bandages with the government’s members fearing for their death they have no choice but to recruit Himura Kenshin to defeat his forces. Ultimately Shishio is defeated due to overheating from his fire techniques which caused him to combust. Shishio can, later on, be seen talking with Yumi and Hoji in Hell.
Saint Seiya Jump Force Characters
The story of Saint Seiya focuses on an orphan named Seiya who was forced to go to the Sanctuary in Greece to obtain one of the clothes. The Bronze Cloth of the Pegasus constellation is a protective armor worn by the Greek goddess Athena’s warriors known as Saints. Seiya, upon awakening his Cosmo quickly becomes the Pegasus Saint and returns to Japan to find his older sister. Due to her disappearance the same they Seiya left, he makes a deal with Saori Kido to go with him and fight in the Galaxian Wars. In this tournament, all the orphans that have survived and become Bronze Saints must fight to win the most powerful Cloth. The story goes on to follow Seiya’s journey in this world in search of his sister.
Pegasus Seiya
Pegasus Seiya is one of the eighty-eight Saints of Athena and serves loyally at her side. Seiya’s power draws his superhuman powers straight from the Cosmos, including the energy of the Big Bang that lingers inside each. This is what connects a Saint to his constellation and thor specific Cloth. As Seiya is looking for his older sister after her disappearance he starts suspecting that Marin may be his sister. He finds out this is wrong later n upon finding his real sister. The rest of the story follows Seiya’s burning passion and spirit as he follows his heart to help those he wishes. And how his absolute determination and refusal to ever give up will put him in some interesting situations throughout the story.
Dragon Shiryu
Dragon Shiryu first appears in the story when he is sent to train at Lushan’s Five Old Peaks in China. Here he obtains the Bronze Cloth of the Dragon constellation from Libra dohyo. Following this just like Seiya, he returns to Japan to participate in the Galaxian Wars tournament where he is defeated by Seiya himself. After the defeat and subsequent witness of the stealing of the Glod Clot Shiryu becomes involved in the battles to recover it. Eventually, he is forced to blind himself as a last-ditch effort to achieve victory against Perseus Algol, although his injury does not keep him from the battle for long. Shiryu is quick to join his fellow Bronze Saints as they go to Sanctyry to dispose of the false pope. Where he even recovers his sight upon awakening his seventh sense in the fight against Cancer Deathmask.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Jump Force Characters
Yu-Gi-Oh! Is a series that follows the story of a boy Yugi Mutou who solves the ancient Millennium Puzzle. This awakens the alter ego or spirit within the puzzle and allows it to solve his conflicts in various games. As the story goes on Yugi and his friends slowly learn about the true meaning behind the card game they are playing and who exactly this alter ego is. Ultimately resulting in the squad preventing a great calamity together.
Yugi Muto/Yami Yugi
Yugi Muto is a young timid boy who loves all sorts of games and puzzles but is often bullied around. One day, he solves an ancient puzzle known s the Millennium Puzzle which he got from his grandpa. The solved puzzle unleashes a mysterious spirit with a personality of a gambler, later revealed to be a nameless Pharaoh from Ancient Egyptian times. While playing any games, especially Duel Monsters the Pharaoh faces off against opponents like an expert, almost always winning the bout.
Seto Kaiba
The first and only DLC Jump Force character from Yu-Gi-Oh! Is Seto Kaiba the majority shareholder and CEO of Kaiba Corporation. Kaiba is the first opponent Yugi faces in a game of Duel Monsters. In this game even if Kaiba has multiple Blue-Eyes White Dragons thanks to the Pharaoh and grandpas deck Yugi takes the win. This experience crushes Kaiba as it is the first time he has lost in ages. Kaiba is later proven to be the modern-day reincarnation of one of the Pharaoh’s Sex High Priests appearing near the end of the story.
Yu Yu Hakusho Jump Force Characters
YuYu Hakusho is a series that tells the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a teenager who is struck and killed by a car. Upon reaching the rules of the afterlife Underworld he has presented a test, which results in Yusuke being revived as an Underworld Detective. Because of this title must investigate various cases involving demons and apparitions in the world. The story follows Yusukes adventures as he lives his newfound life as an Underworld Detective.
Yusuke Urameshi
The fourteen-year-old delinquent that attends Sarayashiki Junior High School Yusuke Urameshi has found himself in a new world. As a newfound Underworld Detective Yusuke investigates the supernatural while taking care of Keiko Yukimura, his love interest. His newfound title comes with a few powers to help him fend for himself. His most common attack is the Reigun, an energy blast fired out of his right index finger as if it were a gun. In the beginning, he can barely get a single shot per day. But as his skill grows while training under Genkai he can fire multiple shots per day, even developing some variations to the attack. The rest of the story explores his heritage and place in the world as he decides what he will be. In the game, players can see Yusuke utilize all his famous moves from the series.
Younger Toguro
At first, introduced as one of the Brokers of Darkness Younger Toguro is a demon who provides monsters for sideshows or assault forces. Toguro is a human turned demon and the man antagonist during the Dark Tournament arc. His ability is purely physical strength paired with the ability to perfectly regulate how much of it is used at a time. Toguro longed for a worthy opponent to use his full power, once Yusuke entered the tournament he, was excited. Unfortunately, even though he stops Yusukes final attack in their battle his body cannot handle the stress and he dies right there.
Hiei
Hiei is one of the three wanted demons who stole three treasures from the Underworld. His treasure was the Conjuring blade, a sword that turns anyone cut into a demon. With this Hiei plans to create an army and kidnaps Keiko to get the other two treasures from Yusuke. However, Hiei breaks the deal and cuts Keiko with the blade forcing Yusuke to defeat him to save her. Later on, Hiei changes and no longer solely acts for his interests. Even participating in the Dark Tournament On the Yusukes team. Ultimately Hiei forgets his shortcomings and his list for revenge fades, deciding to go find his sister instead.
Original Jump Force Characters
Of all the playable characters from other universes on our list, there are a few that are unlockable within the game as you do the story. Playing them is a cool experience for anyone that has completed the main story of the game since it gives insight into their gameplay.
Galena
Galena is one of the primary antagonists in the story mode of Jump Force and is an ally of Kane and one of the controllers of the Venoms. She is first sensed by Piccolo when he saw a mysterious woman during their travel. As the game’s story unfolds Galena corrupts other heroes such as Ryo Saeba and also manipulates Rukia. She also successfully tricks Ichigo and Piccolo to fight against the main hero. In the end, she betrays Kane by beating him up and then tries to destroy him. Ultimately all her scheming is for naught because she was backstabbed by Prometheus.
Kane
Kane is the primary antagonist in the game and the leader of the Venoms. His goal is to wreak havoc across the man worlds and eventually merge them into one. He is a martial arts master adept in hand-to-hand combat and fighting at a distance with energy projection. This all can be seen in his appearances within the story. His great leadership skills led him a long way nearly accomplishing his plans until he was betrayed by Galena.
Prometheus/’’Director Glover’’
Prometheus is an antagonist in the game that spends most of the game hidden in plain sight under the disguise of Director Glover. Prometheus even aids the heroes with their plans only to reveal himself after Galena is defeated. Once revealed Prometheus explains that he is behind the world merging and that he plans to go through with the plan. Prometheus is challenged by the heroes to a battle and after a tough-fought win he is defeated and the worlds are saved.
