Fulfill Your Destiny is the seventh story mission in LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga’s Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Here we have prepared a complete guide on how to complete The Strength to Do It and all its challenges. Learn everything from how to complete the three Fulfill Your Destiny Challenges, collect all five Minikits, and even achieve the True Jedi Rank by reaching 100% completion of the level.
To reach this rank you must complete many different tasks during the level some of which may not be so obvious. Here we have prepared a list of everything you must complete to 100% of the Fulfill Your Destiny mission. These are all of the tasks listed off in order of difficulty:
- Level Challenges:
#1: I Will Not Fight You, Father – Make your way past Vader without being detected
#2: Let The Hate Flow Through You – Cause damage to one of Palpatine’s guards, by luring them into one of his attacks.
#3: There is No Conflict – Find the Empire Weapons Crate and use the weapons within it
- Collect all 5 Minikits
- Earn True Jedi Rank by collecting 30000 studs
Each of these can be completed during your first playthrough of the game, as long as you pay attention to what you are doing.
Fulfill Your Destiny Story Walkthrough
Here are all the tasks you need to achieve 100% on the Fulfill Your Destiny story mission in order. Just remember that it is best to do them as you come across them to make the process much easier to track.
Opening Sequence
Right after his capture Luke Skywalker is presented to the Emperor by Darth Vader. In this mission, your party will start off with only Luke Skywalker. As the mission is very short and has a low studs cap for True Jedi it is important to keep an eye out on any studs. Doing so will prevent the need for backtracking and resets of the mission.
Minikit 1
As soon as the mission starts off you will be in a fight against Darth Vader. The first Minikit can be found immediately hiding behind the Emperor and his throne. Simply find the time to run behind the throne and collect the first Minikit.
Challenge #1: I Will Not fight You, Father
After a long fight, you find yourself on the high ground where you must focus on attacking Darth Vader. Do this until his health is depleted, only then will he start throwing his lightsaber before knocking you and himself to a lower level. To earn the I Will Not fight You, Father challenge you need to make your way past Darth Vader while undetected. As he jumps down to pursue you, he will have a sight radius that you can work to dodge. The best way to do this is to stick to the right side in this section as it is the fastest way to progress. Furthermore, this area has the most cover compared to others. If you sneak past successfully you will complete this challenge.
Challenge #2: Let The Hate Flow Through You
Once you have snuck past Darth Vader he will instantly start attacking you again. This continuation of the fight will ultimately lead to you defeating him just like you did before. Darth Vader will decide he can’t fight you any longer and he will join your party. Once this happens The Emperor will attack the both of you with lightning attacks from above as guards flood the room. Try to focus on the guards and fight them off to the best of your abilities.
This must be done because to complete the second challenge you need to lure one of the guards into one of Palpatine’s attacks. These attacks will be telegraphed on the ground with red markings. This challenge requires a bit of timing and can prove challenging to some players. We recommend that you step into the lighting yourself and get the guard to fight you in it. While you will take some damage it is the easiest and fastest way to complete this challenge.
Minikit 2
From here before you defeat the rest of the guards you can explore the area while they chase you. This is the perfect time to head around the back of the elevator to locate a Minikit. You will need to use Darth Vader on the Villain console to reveal the second Minikit.
Minikit 3
Upon picking up the elevator Minikit headed forward with the path to the right and left. Then take the first left and jump over the game, you will find a console at the back of the room. By destroying this console you obtain a power cell that can be plugged in on the left wall. This will inflate a bouncy castle, which will allow you to get enough height to reach the third Minikit.
Minikit 4
Once you have collected the third Minikit return to the elevator again and take the right path this time. Just like before jump the gate to enter a secluded area with three statues. Each statue has its specific case it must be placed in. In order from left to right, they go Golden Statue, Darth Vader Statue, and Jar Jar Binks Statue. By placing the three statues correctly a Minikit will be revealed.
True Jedi Rank
If you have been actively collecting studs you should have about 30000 by this point. If not there are still a few segments of the mission in which you can collect the remaining studs to achieve a True Jedi Rank at Fulfill Your Destiny.
Complete the Mission
After collecting the fourth Minikit head back to the elevator and take out the rest of Palpatine’s guards. This will start the final boss fight of the mission. Immediately upon starting he will attack you with lightning, you can repel this attack by blocking and aiming it at him. This is how you will defeat him, so just keep repeating this as you chunk down his health. Upon The Emperor’s defeat, the mission ends and free play is unlocked.
Fulfill Your Destiny Play Walkthrough
For this free play segment, you will have Minikits and Supercountes to collect. To do this and reach 100% on the Fulfill Your Destiny mission you will need a few character types. The character types required are Villain and Protocol Droid.
Challenge #3: There is No Conflict
To earn this challenge you need to find the Empire Weapons Crate and use the weapons inside. Just as you begin the boss battle with Emperor Palpatine, run away towards the elevator. On either side where his guards come from are Empire Weapon Crates. Using a Villain you can access them and grab a weapon from them. Doing this is enough to get you the challenge, you do not need to defeat Palpatine with the weapons.
Minikit 5
To attain the final Minikit in the game head to the right side path near the elevator. After reaching the gate you will see a Protocol Droid console on your left. Interact with this console to gain a password and head back to the left path from the elevator. Once you reach the door on this side you will see another Protocol Droid console on the right.
Simply access it with the password you just gained to turn a screen on. In front ot said screen stand on the button and pieces will shoot from the screen. These building pieces can be assembled into the final Minikit. With this, you have completed Fulfill Your Destiny with the True Jedi Rank.
