Hibernation Station is one of the later story missions in LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga’s Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Here we have prepared a complete guide on how to complete Hibernation Station and all its challenges. Learn everything from how to complete the three Level Challenges, collect all five Minikits, and even achieve the True Jedi Rank by reaching 100% completion of the level.
To reach this rank you must complete many different tasks during the level some of which may not be so obvious. Here we have prepared a list of everything you must complete to 100% of the Hibernation Station mission. These are all of the tasks listed off in order of difficulty:

#1: You Want to Make That Move? – Build a distraction for the Stormtroopers
#2: Hello, What Have We Here? – Discover and loot an Empire Weapon Cache as a disguised Rebel
#3: Surprise! – Trigger the secret defenses on the Landing Pad.

- Earn True Jedi Rank by collecting 100000 studs
Each of these can be completed during your first playthrough of the game, as long as you pay attention to what you are doing.
Hibernation Station Story Walkthrough
Here are all the tasks you need to achieve 100% on the Hibernation Station story mission in order. Just remember that it is best to do them as you come across them to make the process much easier to track.
Opening Sequence
What was supposed to be a quiet mission through the safe haven that is Could City is quickly turned upside down. Seemingly it turns out that Lando sold you out to the Empire and you are put with a party of Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, and C-3PO. In this mission, just like in many others, it is important to focus on collecting studs throughout the entire story mission to earn enough for the True Jedi Rank. This means destroying anything you can to collect as many studs as possible. To reach the required 100000 studs required it is important that you remain diligent in destroying boxes and other objects.
Minikit 1
As soon as you start the mission switch over to C-3PO and take a look behind you to find a Protocol Droid console. Here interact with it to receive a password before heading to the circular area on the left. While some stormtroopers will rush you it is easy to blast them away and important as they drop disguise pieces. Princess Leia can utilize these pieces as a full disguise that is required later on in the mission.
While you are here locate another Protocol Droid console in the room and interact with it. This console requires the password you gained from the start so use C-3PO to unlock the door and enter the dining room. In there, you will find your first Minikit located on the table.
Minikit 2
After collecting the first Minikit go back to the circular area and find the hallway from which the stormtroppers attacked. Continue down this path and defeat any stormtroppers you encounter on your way down. Near the end, on the right side, you will find another Protocol Droid console to interact with. Use C-3PO to interact with it to activate the junk droid inside and gain control of it. You can use this droid to open up the door for your party to pass through.
As you enter the room with your party and smash the boxes in the room you will uncover a conveyor belt and pieces for one. Using the pieces will repair and cause the conveyor belt to move, which will eventually bring out your second Minikit.
Challenge #1: You Want to Make That Move?
As you Exit this area through the side door right next to the one you entered through head right. Here there will be a lot of stormtroopers attacking you, but luckily there is a lot of cover to utilize. Try to completely avoid fighting these stormtroopers and build a distraction for them to complete the challenge. About halfway down the hall, you will spot an opening on the left side with a few breakable boxes. Break them to reveal building pieces that can be used to create a few things. Once presented with the choice choose the Dejarik Board, the only buildable that will distract the stormtroopers. By doing this you have completed the You Want to Make That Move challenge in Hibernation Station.
Minikit 3
Upon completing the challenge and passing the distracted stormtroppers continue to the end of the hall. Here you can turn left or right, and go left first to locate a Hero console. Here you have to use this console to reveal a movable box. The console will work with Princess Leia even if she is disguised as a stormtrooper. Simply push the box to shift the platform outside the window, which will create an opening to the third Minikit.
True Jedi Rank
If you have been actively collecting studs you should have about 100000 by this point. If not there are still a few segments of the mission in which you can collect the remaining studs to achieve a True Jedi Rank at Hibernation Station.
Challenge #2: Hello, What Have We Here?
After collecting the third Minikit head back to where you came from to do the second challenge. Follow the path down the hall and take a right that you walked past earlier. You will know you are in the right place when you pass through a half-circle area with an Imperial Officer and stormtroppers inside. Once you meet them the Imperial Officer will run off with the keycard and the stormtroppers will attack you. Switflty defeat the stormtroopers and head after the Officer. Use Princess Leia to disable the barrier blocking your way by pulling the grapple point near the power cell.
Doing this opens up an option to free some prisoners located on the left side. To earn the challenge you need to discover and loot an Empire Weapon Cache in a Rebel disguise. Luckily, Princess Leia has the stormtrooper disguise from earlier on in the mission. Simply, locate the cache in an alcove between the prisoner’s cells and open it. Doing this will complete this challenge and give you a new weapon of your choice.
Minikit 4
Upon completing the challenge and selecting a weapon continue down the prisoner hall ignoring the hallway on the right for now. At the end of this road, there will be an elevator bay where the Imperial Officer from before is hiding. As you approach him a lot of stormtroopers will descend the elevators, defeat them alongside the officer to claim the keycard.
While you are here head over to the broken elevator and use your blaster to destroy the Imperial flags. This will cause the flags to the right and left of the broken elevator to drop building pieces. Use these building pieces to assemble a trampoline to reach a switch above the broken elevator. By interacting with this lever the broken elevator doors will open and reveal your fourth Minikit.
Challenge #3: Surprise!
Upon collecting the fourth Minikit head back to the locked door and use the keycard to unlock it. From here go to the Millennium Falcon, only to realize it needs repairs just as a wave of enemies attacks you. Before the enemies come you need to complete the third challenge by taking note of the power droids on the landing pad. Head over to them and trigger the secret defenses on the Landing Pad. Then ride one of the power droids to an activation pad to receive a giant laser turret you can use.
Once you unlock the turret and sit in it you will unlock this challenge in the mission Hibernation Station.
Survive and Escape!
Now, with your newly acquired laser turret, you will have no issue taking down the massive waves of attacking stormtroopers. Keep shooting and protecting the Millennium Falcon up until Boba Fett joins the fight on his ship. Once Boba enters the fray he will fire a volley of proton bombs that you can shoot in the sky. Be prepared for this attack since it has a bit of a cooldown narrowing the time for you to lay fire into his ship. Once Boba Fett is defeated the Millenium Falcon will be prepared to take your party to safety.
Minikit 5
From here all you have left is one Minikit that must be acquired in free play. To collect this Minikit you will need to select an Astromech Droid character and head on into the level. As soon as you start quickly make your way towards the area where you unlocked challenge #2. The only difference this time is that instead of going down to the elevator bay you will take your first right. Here you will notice the Astromech Droid console you have to interact with.
By doing so you will open the door in front of you. Here you need to pull the grapple point in the first room and break the box that falls. This will reveal a power cell that can be carried into the second room and plugged into a grid. Once the power cell is plugged in your final Minikit will be revealed. With this, you have completed Hibernation Station with the True Jedi Rank.
