There are few feelings you can beat in video games, and the feeling of finally coming to the main settlement in the game is definitely one of them. It’s a sign for the player to take a break and let themselves take in all the events that had happened leading up to this part. Assassin’s Creed is a franchise famously known for this.

Veteran fans of the series will fondly remember the Monteriggioni in Assassin’s Creed II as well as the Davenport Homestead in Assassin’s Creed III. However, new fans may only recognize Ravensthorpe from Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, and that’s okay.

It’s a great experience getting to see Ravensthorpe change and evolve as you progress throughout the game. It definitely provides you with that nostalgic kind of feeling once you see how far you’ve come in the game.

One of the better parts of Ravensthorpe is the Ostara Festival. However, it also leaves many players confused with the question: how do you decorate Ravensthorpe? Well, look no further! Our handy guide is here to give you all the information you need about decorating Ravensthorpe and progressing the Ostara Festival. Read on!

What is the Ostara Festival?

In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, the Ostara Festival is simply a Pagan festival celebrated by the Germanic people. This festival occurs near the vernal equinox and celebrates the coming of spring.

The festival traditionally occurs at Ravensthorpe, where the settlement sports flowers and other similar decorations. Other forms of celebration also include a hidden egg hunt, an archery competition, and arena brawls.

The Ostara Festival that appears in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is a representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir’s memories.

To kick off the Ostara Festival, the player will need to speak with Norvid. You can find him in the southern part of Ravensthorpe which has been designated as the main festival grounds.

Let’s Get Festive Quest Walkthrough

If you’re looking to decorate Ravensthorpe, you need to be aware of the fact that this is a one-time quest. Consequently, you’ll have to finish everything up the way you want it before turning it in.

Kicking off the quest

After speaking to Norvid, he will provide the player with 20 Festival Tokens to help start up the Ostara Festival. If you happen to run out of these tokens, remember you can always talk to Norvid again to get more of them. You can spend these tokens on different cosmetics for both your character as well as the settlement.

Once you’ve gotten your 20 Festival Tokens, you’re ready to proceed to the next stage of the quest.

How do you decorate Ravensthorpe? Quick Guide

Luckily, decorating Ravensthorpe for the Ostara Festival is not as hard as it may seem. Though this part of the quest has bugged out for some players, it should be working properly now.

All you have to do is find the five decorative elements in Ravensthorpe. Once you’ve located them all, approach each of them and place some decorations down.

Any decorations you have in your inventory should work. If you have an Odin Wooden Statue, feel free to plop that down as it will count towards completion of the quest.

This is where you can get as creative as you want. You can make your decorations have some sort of theme to them and you can even put up five of the same decorations around. However, if you’re the type of person to just get the quest over with, you can also get through the quest quicker this way.

Once you’ve placed all five decorations, you can move on to the next part of the quest!

Your Reward

Placing the five decorations is pretty much all you have to do in order to decorate Ravensthorpe. You can now go back to Norvid, who will give you 50 Festival Tokens.

Note that upon returning to Norvid, this one-time quest will end and you won’t be able to decorate Ravensthorpe anymore. Make sure your decorations are to your liking!

Conclusion

And there you have it, the answer to the question how do you decorate Ravensthorpe!

This is just a part of the Ostara Festival celebration. You may also need to speak to Mayda in this virtual representation and provide her with some words of encouragement.
