Why Climbing is Important in Gang Beasts

Knowing how to climb in Gang Beasts is crucial for navigating through some of the stages you’ll get in the game. It can also help you cover the distance between yourself and your enemies quicker. As a result, you may be able to catch your enemies unprepared and gain an advantage.

However, it’s important to know that, like everything else in Gang Beasts, climbing is not that simple. It’s more than likely you’ll need a few hours of practice to be able to get it right, especially if you’re bad at timing things properly.

There are also two types of climbs, a regular Climb and a Jumping Climb. The regular Climb will help you scale a simple ledge and is not too demanding. However, a Jumping Climb will help your character scale a tall object that the regular Climb can’t get you to. Both are very useful to know.

How Climbing Can Help You Advance in Gang Beasts

As we said, Gang Beasts doesn’t exactly have a sufficient guide or tutorial for players to finish before they start their battles with friends. This means that most people will be a lot slower at figuring out things (well, unless they Google it as you did…)

Regardless, having this advantage against at least some of the player base will surely help you advance through the rounds. Although Gang Beasts doesn’t exactly have a ranked game mode like other similar games, the bragging rights alone should be enough to get you through the day.

Learning the basics of climbing in Gang Beasts will also help you intuitively learn the rest of the game. When you realize how simple it is, you’ll probably begin to wonder what else you can do by mashing buttons together and experimenting.

Finally, studying the maps in Gang Beasts can be great for players who want to utilize climbing the most in Gang Beasts. You can find layouts of all the Gang Beasts maps pretty much anywhere on the internet. If you can get into the Gang Beasts practice mode, you’ll have no problem figuring out how to do the regular Climb and the Jumping Climb on pretty much all of the maps.

However, if you’re looking to take it a step further, you can also look up other tips for getting ahead of other players in Gang Beasts. Once you’ve learned how to climb in Gang Beasts, this should be your next step.
