As of right now, the entire Genshin Impact community is focused on updates 3.8 Phase 2 and 4.0. While we have a little bit more information about 3.8 Phase 2, update 4.0 will feature a completely new area, Fontaine.

These leaks and specifics about Fontaine have started making their rounds on Reddit. From Hydro Character Leaks to enemy attack animations and more, there’s a lot to unpack when it comes to Genshin Impact leaks.
We’ve also seen quite a few leaks actually make it into the first part of update 3.8, which means these data miners may be on to something after all! For example, we got to experience the Oceanid-themed event we were looking forward to in the update.
Does Twitter Follow Genshin Impact Leaks?
As with any other social media, Twitter does have a few accounts dealing with leaked Genshin Impact characters and other information. In fact, it may be one of the best and most trustworthy sources of information for anyone looking to get some information.

Who are the leaked Genshin Impact characters?
According to the Fontaine trailer we saw a few weeks ago, we’ve seen several characters appear. These characters have also been part of leaks that have been going around for a longer period of time.
The following list is composed of all the leaked future Genshin Impact characters:

Sumeru Genshin Impact Leak
But now it’s time to get into the leaks we’ve heard of before and check if they’re consistent, starting with Sumeru Genshin Impact leaks. After all, this is the best way to know if the leaks for the upcoming 4.0 will be consistent!
When it comes to Sumeru, we had leaks of 8 different characters: Cyno, Nilou, Dehya, Alhaitham, Kusanali, Dori, Collie, and Tighnari. Seven out of eight of these characters are now playable, with the exclusion of Kusanali who is playable through her vessel, Nahida.
Kaeya Genshin Impact Leak
Kaeya, one of the starting cryo characters in the game, also had an interesting leak a few weeks prior to the release of patch 3.8.
Is Kaeya going to be released in patch 3.8?
We’ve already mentioned that Kaeya is one of the starting characters in Genshin Impact. Kaeya was released on September 28, 2020, nearly three years ago.
However, some may be referring to his “release” on the banner in patch 3.8. In that case, yes, Kaeya did get released on the banner in patch 3.8. But also no, as Kaeya’s release date as an official playable character already happened a while back.
Can you get Kaeya skin now?
There have also been leaks and rumors of a new Kaeya skin coming out in Genshin Impact, giving the cryo character a fresh new look.
With the introduction of the new temporary area called the Veluriyam Mirage, it’s now also possible to get the Kaeya skin. All you have to do is head to the area and collect Joyeux Vouchers. Then, redeem Kaeya’s new Sailwind Shadow outfit, among other interesting rewards.
Wanderer Genshin Impact Leak
The Wanderer Genshin Impact leak for patch 3.3 revealed almost his entire character and kit. Previously known as Scaramouche, Wanderer was announced to be an Anemo character that players could control.
More leaks included his whole kit, including his Elemental Skill and how it interacts with other elements in the game as well as his Elemental Burst. These leaks have all turned out to be true, though you may be confused by the official English translations of these talents considering the leaks only (or mostly) mentioned the Japanese names.
Dehya Genshin Impact Leak
Dehya, the pyro claymore user, was a leak for version 3.5 of Genshin Impact. She has even appeared on the banner for the first half of the 3.5 update!
According to beta leaks at the time, Dehya’s Elemental Burst would allow her to enter the Blazing Lioness state, throwing away her weapon and entering hand to hand combat. After this state ends, Dehya would perform an Incineration Drive kick. The lucky players who pulled Dehya can testify to the fact that all these leaks really got it all down pat!
Have you seen the new leaked Genshin Impact characters?
We’ve already mentioned a few of the new Genshin Impact characters we’re set to see soon thanks to a leak. However, there’s one more character that we haven’t heard much about, though the whole fandom is on its toes.
That character is Dahlia, whose appearances we’ve seen and whose element we’ve learned a little bit about. We also got some information about his weapon.
Dahlia Genshin Impact Leak
We don’t know much about Dahlia’s release date. What we do know, though, is that his character design looks awesome, though they’re not all that synergic with the aquatic theme Genshin is going for with the Fontaine update.
Despite this, Dahlia is rumored to be a hydro catalyst user. While all of this information is still up in the air, we’re definitely excited to learn more about Dahlia, including his talents and more of his backstory!
What Do We Know About Wriothesley, Neuvillette, and Hydro Archon Furina Release?
As we mentioned earlier, there are some new characters coming up in the world of Genshin Impact. We know this because of the Fontaine leaks, of which there have been many. This has allowed us to learn more about three particularly interesting characters; Wriothesley, Neuvillette, and Furina the Hydro Archon.
Wriothesley will be a 5-star cryo user. While we don’t know much about his character or weapon yet, we’ve seen some concept artwork that looks amazing. He also appeared in the Fontaine trailer.
Neuvillette, the Chief Justice of Fontaine, has also made an appearance in this trailer. He’s a 5-star rarity hydro user with a catalyst weapon. We must say, Neuvillette definitely looks dashing in the trailer.
Finally, our third character of interest is Furina the Hydro Archon. If you aren’t already in love with Furina’s design, you’ll come to love her when you learn she will also be a 5-star hydro user with a sword weapon. Other than that, there is still much to discover about Furina, as is the case with the previous two leaked Genshin Impact characters.
Are they going to be playable with the next 3.8 Patch?
Currently, the game is on patch 3.8, though it is still in phase one. We don’t have any confirmed information on the release date of Wriothesley, Neuvillette, and Furina. However, we do know they are part of the Fontaine region, which is a part of patch 4.0.
Unfortunately, this means they won’t be playable with the next 3.8 patch. However, some have predicted that Wriothesley and Neuvillette will be playable in patch 4.1, while Furina will possibly become playable in patch 4.2.
Do you think 5-star characters are overpowered?
It’s no secret that 5-star characters are the rarest ones to get in Genshin Impact. Despite this, some have taken to calling these characters overpowered.
We think that because they are so rare, 5-star characters are deserving of their power. There is only a 0.2% chance of pulling a 5-star Genshin Impact character from Wishes.
The only time we can truly say a 5-star is overpowered is when they have all their constellations. However, even ignoring how rare this occurrence is, we still have to take into account the fact that some characters rely on constellations more than others. With that, we can confidently say that no, 5-star characters are not overpowered.
How do you feel about Genshin Impact’s new banner leaks?
With the new 4.0 update coming up soon, we’ve also seen a few banner leaks. According to a reputable leaker, Lyney will be featured as the 5-star character on the Fontaine character banner. He will be joined by Lynette and Freminet, who will be 4-star characters.
There have also been rumors of Wriothesley and Neuvillette appearing on the 4.1 phase 1 and phase 2 banners. As for the 4.2 banners, Furina may feature on a banner in phase 1.
It’s no secret that these banners feature some really impressive and amazing art. Knowing this, it’s only natural to expect that fans are incredibly excited to get a look at new banners and make the most out of them. It’s one of the best parts about a Genshin Impact update.

Theoretically, banners are art in Genshin Impact. Each banner has one 5-star character and three 4-star characters that feature on them.
